I purchased this to add to my protein shakes. I use unflavored powder and sometimes I want a little flavor added without my shakes being too sweet. Straight out of the bottle, the flavor is a semi tart strawberry. I add a couple of drops to my shake and it makes a difference.
I purchased the banana as well, but I did not like it. I also compared this to the Watkins imitation strawberry. The McCormick's is a lot better; it's more of a natural flavor. I can definitely tell the difference. This bottle will last a while. It's worth me repurchasing.

I'm not a huge breakfast person and I'd skip it all together if it weren't weird to me to break my fast with a lunch. So for breakfast I usually have a small serving of plain full-fat yogurt or plain cottage cheese. The vanilla and fruity flavored versions of both the yogurt and the cottage cheese have SO much sugar, it is not healthy. But plain yogurt and plain cottage cheese are BLAH. So I ordered this Strawberry Extract.

Yum, yum, yum. I only need a few drops to either yogurt or cottage cheese and this extract successfully flavors either to a pleasant strawberry taste. Alone, it smells like freeze-dried strawberries, but when added into dairy it tastes more like strawberry jam. Delicious! This would also be perfect for adding a hint of strawberry to cheesecake.
